who is taking me for a mani-pedi today. I think the hardest thing about all of this has not been the no-shopping (although I occasionally feel I might crack) but it has been the no “spa treatment” rule. I do not consider myself a lady that “spas”. I maybe get one facial and one massage a year. BUT, what I do treat myself to is a mani-pedi every other week and this once a quarter thing is KILLING me. JJB utterly insisted that I “go into Pave and pick out something” for our five-year anniversary. My mind fleetingly thought of the contract, then acquiesed to his request. I shan’t deny him the pleasure of buying me a bauble. Also, as it turns out, we are getting a custom Roman ring made using a 300 B.C. coin feature a lion’s head, so the whole coin selection/design/fabrication process counts as an experience in my book. -Lisa
